The only reason i can think of why they haven’t announced it is because there are so many VR haters out there that if they announced it they would lose their collective shiiit for adding what they see as a useless VR gimmick (their words not mine) instead of just completing the game. Tell you the truth I’m almost insulted that they think our intelligence is so low as to not realize the extent to which they are putting systems into place for VR. (again why? the only time you would even care or notice this would be in VR where you feel like you have “presence” with the person in front of you, especially when you consider in the pancake game the % of time you will spend face to face with other players is minimal) the facial animation tech they demoed where the characters mouth movement would match the words you are saying in your microphone in real time(maybe AI assisted).fully interactive knobs dials and everything via your mouse (why would you need the ability to click on every control in a cockpit with a mouse, we all know the real reason).(if they weren’t thinking about vr a simple tradional fullscreen menu would have sufficed) mobi glass - and entire in game ui that comes up on your wrist.Descent: Freespace was perhaps a tad derivative, but it was most certainly a good time, and a solid addition to Wing Commanders extended family. accurate positional audio that moves around you depending on where you look Download (1.79 GB) Download - Easy Setup (1.54 GB) Freespace 2 screenshots: In the fall of 1998, Interplay and Volition made their entry into a market that was largely dominated by Origin & Lucasarts.I mean why else would they be wasting so much time and effort in We all know that you are working on VR support. Most of the screen is taken up by an image containing all the HUD's gauges and indicators. For detailed information on the HUD gauges and how they work in the game, please see page 30. you may as well just announce it already. This screen enables you to customize various aspects of your fighter's Heads-Up Display (HUD). Besides cfg editing.Yeah every update they do, i’m like. For a while it was okay on my Clipper because it felt "warm", but sitting in a cold blooded military Anaconda I really wanted cold colors and Elite is not really offering anything here. Regardless, it does indeed get boring after several months in Elite, and many, mostly imperial ships don't feel like really imperial with all the orange crap in the middle of white and blue design. At least not that source I'm looking for. Explanation of the reason is the thing I can't find anymore. A year or two ago I read a huge article about it but cannot find it now :(.Īnyways you can always check google for something like "orange and blue movie posters" or "orange and blue movies" and you'll find collections of hundreds of movie posters building on almost only these two colors (generally speaking ofc.) and hundreds of movies with the screenplay effected in a way to make these two colors dominant for this reason. I don't know exactly why but I think it has psychological reasons and what is most comfortable and exciting for our brain and eyes at the same time. News, banter, CG & GalNet updates, and a bit of music tooĪctually orange+blue pair is the most comfortable and exciting at the same time for a large audience.
